STORY

Joep van den Boom is a Dutch songwriter, composer and music producer with Swedish roots.

He started his musical journey as an EDM artist at a young age, where he developed a strong foundation in production and sounddesign. He soon realized his true passion was songwriting, composing and producing music that connects on a deeper emotional level. At 18, he started his own business, JvdB Productions, through which he collaborates with artists, brands and the media. He graduated cum laude from ArtEZ University of the Arts.

His musical work tells a colorful story and features a wide range of music genres: pop, rock, dance, indie, classical, jazz… as well as music for advertisements and short films.

As a renowned music professional, Joep works with clients from all over the world. The essence of music fuels his creativity daily. “I am fascinated by the concept of writing, composing and producing music. It’s amazing what emotions you can create with just twelve notes. The excitement of growing an idea and translating it into a piece of music that resonates with the artist or director is the most incredible thing to experience. I truly love the creative journey of each project. Everyday is a new day to get better at what you love doing, and for me, that is writing, composing and producing new music.
